Blink Grid stores your game progress locally on your device. We run no servers of our own and never see your personal data. The app shows advertising through Google AdMob - configured for non-personalized ads only. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ads only run after you have made a choice in the consent dialog, which you can revisit at any time in the settings.
Game progress, records, coins, purchased content and settings are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes this data (see section 7 for the optional iCloud backup).
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to display rewarded and interstitial ads. We request non-personalized ads only: ads are selected from contextual information, not from a profile of you.
To deliver and secure ads, Google processes technical data on its own responsibility, including your IP address (also used to estimate your approximate, city-level location), device identifiers, ad interaction data (e.g. which ads were shown) and diagnostic data (e.g. crash and performance information). The app does not request permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites (no App Tracking Transparency prompt is needed). Ad attribution uses Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework.

Where required, the app shows a consent dialog (Google User Messaging Platform) before any ad request is made. The legal basis for the processing described in section 4 is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Settings → Ad privacy options in the app. Outside these regions, processing is based on our legitimate interest in financing a free app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Purchasing any in-app product permanently removes interstitial ads.
You can voluntarily enable global leaderboards in the settings. Your scores are then submitted via Apple Game Center; Apple processes your Game Center nickname and scores under its own responsibility. Records and lifetime counters are mirrored to your personal iCloud key-value storage so they survive reinstalling the app. This data lives in your Apple account; we cannot access it. You can disable iCloud for Blink Grid in the iOS settings.
Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store. We never receive payment or account details - Apple only shares anonymized sales figures with us.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
