2. The short version

ECHO is built so that the app itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no ads, no tracking, no analytics services, and no servers of our own. The app runs entirely offline and without an account.

3. Data stored on your device

Game progress, best times, and settings (such as language or music on/off) are stored locally on your device. This data is not accessible to us. Deleting the app removes it, unless you use iCloud sync (section 4).

4. iCloud sync (optional)

Your game progress can be synced between your devices via Apple iCloud (key-value storage). The data lives in your personal iCloud account and is accessible only to you — we have no access to it. The controller for iCloud processing is Apple Inc. / Apple Distribution International Ltd.; Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy. Syncing follows your device-level iCloud settings (Settings → Lucas Hesseldieck → iCloud).

5. Game Center (optional)

If you use Game Center, your best times and achievements are submitted to the leaderboards via Apple Game Center. Apple processes your Game Center nickname and your scores; the controller is Apple. Without signing in to Game Center, no submission takes place.

6. In-app purchases (tips)

Voluntary support purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store. We never receive payment or account details — Apple only shares anonymized sales figures with us.

7. No sharing, no third parties

The app does not embed any third-party services (no ad networks, no analytics SDKs, no social media plugins) and does not share any data.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we do not store any personal data about you ourselves, requests regarding iCloud or Game Center data are generally directed to Apple. You can of course contact us at the email address above at any time.

9. Changes

If the app's functionality changes, this policy will be updated. The current version can always be found at this address.
